Pediatric Gastroenterologist | Scientist | Tinkerer

I am currently a pediatric gastroenterology fellow at Stanford Medicine Children's Health. I will be pursuing additional training as an Advanced Fellow in Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease, with plans to pursue a career in academic clinical practice thereafter.

I grew up in South Florida and studied Physics at Princeton University before heading to New York for my M.D. and Ph.D. at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. While there, I worked with Jeremiah Faith to discover fundamental features of the gut microbiome and describing host-microbiome interactions in inflammatory bowel disease.

Outside the hospital, I spend most of my time cooking, traveling, playing soccer, solving crosswords, and exploring California trails with my dog. I also occasionally build little side projects at home to solve everyday problems (like a meal planning web app I use to organize my recipes and generate grocery lists).
